Your partner opens with a pre-emptive three clubs and you try to find spade support by bidding a forcing three spades. He bids three notrump showing something in the red suits, what now? Scroll down when you have chosen your bid. The
blocked club suit doesn't bode well for playing three
notrump and partner's lack of spade support may make four
spades no play, so supporting clubs with a bid of four
clubs (forcing) or a leap to five clubs is the best bet.
