You reach game after the above bidding sequence, North's two notrump bid showing a raise to at least three spades.  West leads the club king and follows with the ace and a club to East's queen.  East now switches to the queen of hearts.

How do you play?

Solution

Royce Alexander decided that for the take out double West was likely to hold four hearts and a singleton spade, so he cashed the top hearts and ruffed a heart with the queen in dummy, then played a spade to the nine, another heart was ruffed with the ace of trumps and a further spade finesse picked up the trumps.
