John and Michelle have many international and national honours.
Together they represented England in Camrose matches four times and Great Britain in Mixed Teams Championships.
Michelle played forty times for England and Great Britain in international events, winning the Womens World Championship (Venice Cup) in 1985 and the Womens European Championship in 1977 and 2001. She also won the Lady Milne (Ladies home international) several times.
John has played for England in other Camrose matches with Boris Ewart and John Armstrong and played for England with John Armstrong in the European Championships in 2006 and 2008. He has won World championships twice in senior events.
In National events John and Michelle won the Hubert Phillips (Mixed Teams) six times and Crockfords (English Teams Championships) once. They also won the Portland Pairs (Mixed) a record three times and won many other National events.
At county level they won virtually every event in the Manchester area.
