Brian Lever

We are sorry to report the death of Brian on January 21st.  Brian was one of Manchester and England's best backgammon players.  He mainly played at weekend events, where he had innumerable successes.  He also played at the Manchester club whenever business and family commitments allowed.  He was very sociable and friendly and was always willing to give advice and help to aspiring players.  Apart from backgammon, he was a keen Manchester United supporter and played football in his youth.  He also played table tennis.  His funeral was held on 22nd January.  Our condolences to his family.
