Welcome to the website of the Northern Bridge League.
Formed in 2006, the NBL is a teams-of-eight competition between the  County Bridge Associations of Northern England and North Wales. The League is divided into three Divisions. The A Division is for teams consisting of the county's best players, the B Division is for the county's next best players, whilst the C Division is aimed at club players.

There are four all-play-all events each year, held on Saturdays in the Summer months. From 2022 the event is played online.

The 2026 season got underway with the first round of matches played on July 11th.  In the A division there are five teams.  Merseyside & Cheshire lead ahead of Scotland. 

In the B division Manchester have a good lead over North-East, with six teams participating.

In the C division Manchester again lead just ahead of Merseyside & Cheshire.
